Technology Leader & Software Engineer

I’m Krishna — a software engineer and technology leader with 15+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production software systems.

My work spans software architecture, product engineering, backend systems, infrastructure, data platforms, integrations, and technical leadership. I’m most useful when the challenge is not simply writing code, but understanding the problem, making sound technical decisions, and taking responsibility for getting the system into production.

I’ve worked with startups, consulting firms, enterprise teams, and nonprofits across healthcare, finance, media, and e-commerce.

Over the years, I’ve worked across the full technology lifecycle: early product architecture, new platform development, legacy systems, production incidents, infrastructure, security, integrations, engineering processes, and scaling systems as requirements evolve.

Today, I serve as CTO at Blue Circle Diabetes Foundation, where I lead the technology behind patient-facing and clinical healthcare systems. This includes mobile applications, continuous glucose monitoring integrations, health-data infrastructure, clinician analytics, operational systems, and AI-assisted tools.

I’m also the founder and principal engineer behind Kurrier, an open-source email infrastructure platform. Kurrier involves SMTP and IMAP, provider integrations, mailbox synchronization, APIs, background processing, authentication, permissions, multi-tenant architecture, and production infrastructure.

I’m comfortable operating at both the architecture and implementation level. Depending on the problem, that can mean defining technical direction, reviewing an existing system, working alongside an engineering team, leading a difficult project, or directly building critical parts of the platform.
